Privacy

In summary: this site sets no cookies, the sites we build do not track visitors, and the only personal data we hold about a client is an email address used to sign in.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Software Hardware and Application Design Solutions Limited, of Drumaboden, Ramelton, Co. Donegal, F92YF97, Ireland, trading as Findable. Contact us about anything on this page at support@shad.ie.

Visitors to this site

We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising or tracking script. No consent is requested because none is required.

Our servers retain standard request logs, including IP addresses, for a short period, to diagnose faults and detect abuse. These logs are not used to build profiles and are not shared.

Clients

We hold the following about businesses using the service:

• Your email address, used to sign in. We do not store passwords. Sign-in links are single use and expire after 15 minutes.
• The content of your website, including business details, opening hours, services, prices and photographs, published at your instruction.
• A record of changes to your site, showing what was changed and when.
• Payment records. Card and bank details are collected and held by Stripe and are not accessible to us. We receive only the amount and whether the payment succeeded.

We retain this data while you are a client, and delete it within 30 days of your request after you leave, other than records we are required to retain for tax purposes.

Your customers

Sites we build do not track visitors. Visit counts are recorded at the server, in aggregate, and are not linked to an individual or a device.

Where your site includes an enquiry form, messages sent through it are your data. You are the controller and we are the processor acting on your instructions. Messages are delivered to your inbox and we retain the minimum necessary. A separate data processing agreement covers this, as required by Article 28 of the GDPR.

Businesses we contact

We research local businesses and may contact them about the service. If we have contacted you and you are not a client, the following applies.

• What we hold. Business contact details only: a business name, a publicly listed business address, a role address such as info@, and a business phone number. We do not collect the personal contact details of named individuals.
• Where it came from. Public sources, including OpenStreetMap, the business’s own website, and public business listings.
• Our lawful basis. Legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to a local business. You may object at any time.

To be removed, email support@shad.ie. No reason is required. We add the business to a suppression list, so the record is not collected again in future research.

Who we share data with

We use the following processors, and no others:

• Cloudflare — serves the websites.
• Microsoft Azure — hosts the application and its database, in the EU.
• Stripe — processes payments and holds payment details.
• SMTP2GO — delivers sign-in links and service notifications.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party marketing.

Where we process personal data on behalf of a client, our data processing agreement sets out the same list, with what each processor does and on what terms.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our holding it. Email support@shad.ie. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
